Hellshade 110 Posted July 4, 2010 Does anyone know which setting specifically allows for trees and other scenery to be drawn even further out in the distance? As it is now, you can see trees right below you and a certain distance away but then after that the scenery just stops. What slider, etc controls making the trees be drawn all the way to the horizon or at least a few more miles out? Hellshade
Olham 164 Posted July 4, 2010 Please send a screenshot of your "Overrides" in "Workshop". Maybe I can tell you, when I see, what I have clicked, but you haven't. Cause my scenery stretches out fine. To catch a screenshot from "Workshop", you press "Print", then close OFF, open a graphic prog like "Paint" or "Photoshop", click "New File", and when it's there, click "Insert". gaw 5 Posted July 5, 2010 in your terrdata zip is an xml file called "composite scenery budgets" ........as I recall.......never a sure bet........a set of off the chart settings were posted at one time for WM Scenery.......the great mission manger Winding Man built for CFS3. They expanded the visible rings of scenery as far as you could wish but the fps hit was catastrophic for most rigs.....mine included. I haven't seen any mods for this posted for OFF but I suspect that the ring distance is wider already in OFF than CFS3 and that the scenery/terrain sliders do just that. Hellshade 110 Posted July 6, 2010 I found it guys. Thanks. I can't remember which slider made the change, but I have trees out the full distance now. Hellshade
