Slartibartfast Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Okay I have just received the Haynes Manual for the Avro Vulcan. So far the book has got some great photos in it and seems a bit short 160 pages. In those it covers most major events for the Vulcan including the restoration. But so far its well worth the asking price for such a classic piece of Aviation history. Quote
+MigBuster Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Haha - havent got one of those yet - would like the Spitfire one tbh - would be an improvement on my old Ford Fiesta manuals that I spent hours covering in oil! Quote
Slartibartfast Posted July 12, 2010 Author Posted July 12, 2010 (edited) Yeah my dad bought it for me as part of my Birthday... And I have a good collection of Motorbike Haynes manuals mostly not covered in oil... I would recommend the Vulcan one if you are a fan and I suppose the Spitfire one will be just as good... I suppose getting parts for one would be difficult though... Edited July 12, 2010 by Slartibartfast Quote
