Aircraft Carrier

Only just getting into this series of sims and have not read everything up to date, so if this has already been aired please forgive. Is there any way to use carriers? Obviously if one can download planes like the Tomcat, one would assume these would be flown from aircraft carriers.

Hello!

 

You can use carriers only in campaign missions. For example in Desert Storm campaign carriers are available.

That's not accurate . One can take off from, and recover back onto a carrier in a scripted single mission. I've written quite a few of them in my time, and if I'm not mistaken, both WoV and SF2V come with at least one carrier-based single mission, by default.

True, WoV has a practice carrier landing mission on an F-4. Very useful for newbies (at least it was for me).
