Wrench Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 ...I can never remember this stuff... The data ini statements for the fuel tank are in liters or Kg??? whilst, oth, the cockpit ini lists as lbs... what I'm tryin to do, is get the fuel gauge "close" to what it should be to the internal tank. here's the fuel tank statement: [FuselageFuelCell] SystemType=FUEL_TANK FuelTankID=1 MaxFuelAmount=1034.21 SelfHealing=TRUE FireSuppression=TRUE MinExtentPosition=-0.60,-1.38, 0.73 MaxExtentPosition= 0.60,-0.32,-0.85 HasArmor=TRUE ArmorMaterial=STEEL Armor[FRONT].Thickness=12 Armor .Thickness=12 Armor .Thickness=12 Armor[REAR].Thickness=12 Armor[bOTTOM].Thickness=12 btw, the actual gallonege is 380, which is 1438 liters (or apporx 3041 lbs) I forgot the question I was asking....draT!!!! so, then to adjust the needle, it just then a matter of figuring out the angle?? [internalFuelGauge] Type=INETERNAL_FUEL_QUANTITY_INDICATOR NodeName=needle_fuel MovementType=ROTATION_Y ValueUnit=LB Set[01].Position=-135.0 Set[01].Value=0.0 Set[02].Position=330.0 (not correct, just as an example) Set[02].Value=3000.0 wrench kevin stein Quote
FastCargo Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 If I remember correctly, the fuels are all done in kilos... FC Quote
+Dels Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Yeah, kilos for the _DATA.ini and you can set the unit to whatever you want in the _COCKPIT.ini. That being said though, provided the gauge is a linear increase (i.e. only two positions like your example above) it doesn't really matter what units you use. Dels Quote
