Looking for a special Father's Day present?

Well maybe you could get Dad his very own Cold-War era jet fighter.

A Russian MiG-21 - code named "Fishbed" by NATO - will be up for grabs in an online auction starting tonight.

The 37-year-old fighter jet, previously used by the Polish Air Force is one of only two of its type in New Zealand.

Former owner David Henderson has been placed in receivership and is putting it up for sale on Trade Me.

The starting bid will be $10,000.
