StarBlazers was a few animes that I cut my teeth on when I was a kid. There's an live action movie coming out 2011 in Japan. Hopefully the dvd will be released stateside year after.

I remember watching it as a kid, but I really remember little of it other than the sound/sequence of the main cannon firing and the guy that looked liked Captain Smith's shabby brother in charge, determined not to hit any icebergs in space and continue the family tradition...

Been wanting to buy these for a number of years now got to stop putting it Off and just pull the trigger. looking to relive some memories of this cool Series.. First bit of Anime I ever saw..
