MadJeff 3 Posted August 6, 2004 I am currently riding the bus home while typing this on my iPaq 4350, which is connected to my new Nokia 6280 via BlueTooth. The cell is connected to the Inet via AT&T's Edge Network at about 95kbps. I'm also on ICQ chatting. Who would have thought this would be possible even a few years ago... Of course, this just means I never get away from work... :P

+Fates 63 Posted August 6, 2004 However....it will take several more generations before they bring that technology to the BFE, Iowa. <C> Fates ps...not picking on any of you Hawkeyes...
navychief 1 Posted August 6, 2004 Same situation for BFE Georgia. We have a local telephone company that has a monopoly. It won't allow any outside telephone company to operate any services. DSL through them is $50 a month. They know they're the only game in town, and can charge it. Navy Chief
