Just thinking that an F-101C would be kinda cool in WOV. It would be interesting to find out how these birds would have done in Vietnam. They were all retired in '66 if I'm not mistaken. The immortal Robin Olds flew 101C's in Germany with the 81st TFW. By all rights, it was a good gun platform. SEA camouflage would make this a cool "what-if." The RF-101G is already in SEA camo for this game. It's been a long time since I've done any mods for this game. I've been out of the picture for a while...

The RF-101C was in Vietnam too and it retained its ability to drop a single special store. The F-101C would of been the same. It was envisioned as an escort fighter, the USAF turned into a nuclear platform. It wouldnt of done well in Vietnam because there wasnt a role or need for it.

It would still look cool in camo. I took the skin file from the RF-101G and put it on the F-101C, and it mostly fits. I'll post a pic later.

I found this pic of an F-101C in SEA camo. It was painted as such just prior to being converted to RF-101H.
