Ok i seen the patches of the game but what do u d whats it like what planes are there what service can u fly can u explain it alittle

Alright, lets start this from square one.

3) This is a civilized grammatically correct forum. We do not use l33t speak or texting speak (unless you are Dave, and then you can l33t speak all you want). If you act like a COD player, you will be treated like a COD player.

 

So the proper way to ask this is:

 

Okay, I seen the patches (mods?) of the game but what do you? What's it like? What planes are there and what services can you fly with? Can you explain a little?

 

And to answer your question:

 

ODS is not a game, it is a modification (mod) to SFP1. If you want to know what is in it, download it. It's pretty freaking awesome.

Actually, stictly speaking, it's a mod of WoE. That was the base game we used, as WoE had the needed T-72s

 

And ALL the information necessary to install is covered in the included readmes.

 

AFAIK, its now gone in for overhaul to SF2 standards.

Ok im kinda new give me a break ok well i got the ods1 and the file said broke and i installed it and in the proces it didnt download all the way

Okay you need to download everything for ODS first and make sure your WOE is patched to 2008... then unpack and install as easy as that... The files where fine when I downloaded them last month. As to what to expect in it...

 

USAF F-15 to A-10's and anything in the middle

USN Tomcats Hornets Intruders Corsair II's

Marines Harriers Hornets Intruders

RAF Tornado's F-3 and GR1 Jaguars

Italian Air Force Tornado's and RF-104G's

 

and a few more I cannot remember.

 

Even though I have SF2 I still love it for the toughness of it... it is also an extemely well thought out and made Mod. It is possibly the only flight sim mod for Desert Storm well until the next one

 

With regard to the comments about no text speak etc it is very valid as some of the people here are old timers... me for instance I have been Flight simming since about 1985ish... and even though I have a mobile a Blackberry and work in IT I still do not understand text speak etc and I would assume that a lot of others don't.
