Using the G940

Recommended Posts

I received the G940 for Xmas gift. Love it. Unfortunately, OFF BH&H doesn't seem to recognize the throttle. Everything else works as it should. Anyone using the G940 with OFF and have the throttle working or can tell me how to get it to recognize the throttle? Much obliged.

By the way, the G940 works well with ROF and IL2 1946, but the throttle doesn't seem to be recognized by older titles like CFS2 and CFS3, and so far, OFF. Please advise.

Plainsman,

I use a G940 with OFF with no problem. Although it's been a while since I set it up, I think the problem was that the CFS3 engine maps the axes of every controller to the main flight controls (all X and Y axes are roll and pitch, etc). You have to select each controller (joystick, throttle and pedals) in the CFS3 control setup and delete the unwanted axes for that controller and make sure that the ones you want are mapped.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Thanks Vasco. I'll give that a try. If it worked for you, it should work for me. I love this HOTAS! I didn't realize completely how much I missed force feedback. To get it in a HOTAS is the best of all worlds.
