New to SF2

I just bought SF2 Vietnam. Not had much time to evaluate it, but my first impression is that the cockpits look pretty good. The purchasing process was quick and painless too.

 

While I know I should read the Knowledge Base ( and I am doing ) is there anything I should immediately be aware of moving from the 1st to 2nd Gen ?

What would be your 'Top Tips' for a noob to SF2 ?

I'm already OK with the mod folder ( I think.......I'm just installing the Vietnam Gold upgrade, which is absolutely amazing in WoV)

Thanks I haven't been around the forum long, a month maybe ? but I've been a big fan of the Thirdwire sims for years.

 

I'm starting to get SF2 figured out now. Initially the mod folder seemed like a nuisance, but actually it makes sense.

 

My WoE\WoV installs are a real mess and I long ago lost the original discs - thankfully they keep on working somehow.....
