how to launch missiles with trigger

Recommended Posts

Just wondering how to launch air to air missiles with trigger. Seems set up to only fire gun. I have a Logitech EXTREME 3D PRO. I guess I want to know how to launch primary weapon, and gun with trigger.

Its realistic that the trigger does not fire the air to air weapons, and I using the Joystick myself have no issue with firing both at the same time.

However, since Guns and Weapons are different buttons, I suspect it will be impossible to link them both to the same one.

From what I have understood is that you have one of 2 choices you can fire guns with the trigger or you can fire weapons... not both...

Does your trigger have two detentes? I use my trigger for guns, but it has two "buttons" in one - pulling the trigger to the first detente does nothing, second detente fires the gun (while I was breaking the stick in, the first detente was gun, and it'd just shoot for no reason, so I switched it). If so, you could assign first detente to missile, second detente to gun, just make sure you don't pull all the way back if you want only a missile to go off, or that you don't have missiles selected if you want to shoot your gun!

Depends on the Aircraft type.. The F-4 used the TRIGGER for ALL Forward firing ordnance.. What ordnance was selected on the 556 switch on the left throttle.. Th F-4 began life in the US Navy and that was their philosophy at the time..

The F-16 and the F-15 used the TRIGGER for GUN and the 'Pickle' Switch/button for MISSILES..
