One of the best film directors of the second half of XX century died at age of 86.

 

Dog Day Afternoon, Serpico, 12 Angry Men, Network... the list goes on and on

My favorite Sidney Lumet film is/was/and always will be, "Prince of the City", a film that did not get the recognition it deserved, until almost a decade after it was released. "Q & A" was another Lumet masterpiece.
