Olham Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 (edited) Maybe this was shown before, but better twice than never: http://asoublies14-1...337233D4761366E Edited August 26, 2011 by Olham Quote
RAF_Louvert Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 . I know where you just found this link mein Freund. And I agree, it's always better to risk it and post such good info twice, (or more), rather than not at all. . Quote
Olham Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 It wasn't for "showing off reasons", Lou - only just to pass on good info. Personally, I find it questionable, when people keep their hands on historical photos, which were made, when they were not even born - I would much prefer, if such material would be regarded as common heritage. RAF_Louvert Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 . In no way did I imagine you were showing off Olham. You are ever-thoughtful when it comes to sharing such golden nuggets of information with us all. I was only smiling because I knew exactly how you had run across this particular nugget. . Quote
Olham Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 Mmuahahahahahahahaaaaa!!!! Yeah, I bet you had also visited my search over at "The Aerodrome" ? Quote
+elephant Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 It's something like Flieger-Album for France...GREAT! Thanks Olham! Anything similar for RFC-RNAS? Quote
RAF_Louvert Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 . There are just so many websites dedicated to WWI in general and WWI aviation in particular. For those who weren't here for it originally, I posted a long list of links I referred to during the "What's My Plane" contest from about two years ago. And here is that thread: Links to WWI Aviation Websites Enjoy! Lou . Quote
Olham Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 I only found these books so far - a good website would yet to be done, it seems. http://www.fleetairarmarchive.com/books/battles/WW1.html Quote
