Why does the default texture change?

Why do these squads start with SovietSilver1 when I play them, as opposed to the Syrian camo I have indicated?

hmmm - well I would start by looking at the texture.ini for the skins in case they are now overiding the campaign data ini:

 

 

[TextureSet]

Name=Soviet Silver

Nation=Soviet <--------does SyAAFCamo have Syria here??

StartDefaultDate=1 <---------Could this be the cause?

Specular=1.000000

Also check that the MiG-21PFM actually has a SyAAFCamo skin with it in the objectdata cats

Well in MiG-21PFM.ini I have this:

I changed Syria to Paran, but it resets after I start the program each time. And I know the skin exists for that plane because when I play a quick mission I can select it. Could it have anything to do with the order of squadrons in CAMPAIGN.INI vs CAMPAIGN_DATA.INI ?

 

I should mention that unit 14 is the first Parani squadron. Everything above is Dhimari.

because you need to make a 'nationalized' Parani skin.

I can garanetee Paran is not in the PFMs userlist.ini

Yet the SyAAF skin works for AI squadrons. Oh well, I'll figure something out. Maybe the player's will just have to be the default Soviet Silver. Looks better anyway.
