Hauksbee Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Thanks Olham for the tip. The Sidewinder is still pretty good, but the Thrustmaster takes home the marbles. Lots of rudder to bring the guns to bear. Quote
+Olham Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Ah, I am very glad you like it, Hauksbee - I do all my flying with it since a long time, and it never broke yet. (three knocks on wood!) Quote
Hellshade Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Can I get a link to the Thrustmaster you are talking about please? I'd like a bit more rudder control if there's any to be had. Hellshade Quote
Hauksbee Posted September 18, 2011 Author Posted September 18, 2011 (edited) Can I get a link to the Thrustmaster you are talking about please? I'd like a bit more rudder control if there's any to be had. Here y' go! Amazon is where I got mine. The Thrustmaster has rudder and to spare. Often the nose swings past the target and I've had to learn to use it lightly. The one I'm using is the second down in the list. http://www.amazon.co...ix=Thrustmaster Edited September 18, 2011 by Hauksbee Quote
Slartibartfast Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Must admit I am uising the one at the top of the list and find it fantastic... Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick as the throttle is seperate and you have 2 choices for the rudder with the twist on the Stick or the paddles on the throttle... Quote
gaw Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Yep....of all the lot....these last longest and perform well........and I fly A LOT....... Quote
jwrich Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Hey guys I bought the Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick based on your comments. I have used it about four days and it is fantastic, good advise. Maybe someone can help me out. After flying with out of the box, I decided to try the rudder slider and program some of the buttons. Everyone of them worked with OFF except the elevator trim (up & down). I tried with MS Flight Sim 2004, worked with the new program buttons. Next tried to use the programed buttons CFS 3 but it would not allow me to program any buttons it CFS 3. I could use it as it come out of the box, but I would really like to program some of the button. What am I doing wrong? Need a little help. Thanks Rich Quote
Wodin Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I bought a dirt cheap black widow stick...for a budget it's OK. Though you can't instal;l it's drivers for RoF. I was goign to get the thrustmaster at the top of the list and think I will for Xmas. Quote
