Making a New Sound

Hi all,

 

I was wondering if it is possible to make a new sound for the game. I wanted to make something that would simulate the sound you hear inside the aircraft when your aircraft is taxing, landing or taking off. Basically the sound the wheels make when they are rolling on the ground.

I'm pretty sure the only ambient noise sound (other than engine noise) is the windloop which increases in volume/intensity as airspeed increases. Also, the game sounds are limited to those that are coded into the sim, so I think you may be out of luck unfortunately.

Darn...maybe I can edit the TireTouch.WAV sound...hmmm

Hi have you tried my cockpit sound mod this free's up the windloop channel .Now if you have a tyer rolling sound save it as windloop and set the time it starts below 70 mph it shoud work .Just a thought !

Ahhhhh! Never thought of that! Will have to get your mod and try that!
