meade95 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 (edited) Are ROEs modeled within SF2 (for the AI). Be it, White (Weapons Hold), Yellow (Weapons Tight) or Red (Weapons Free)??? Janes F-18 has this and can be used quite well when creating scenarios and not knowing exactly what will happen. I haven't seen a place within the editor on ROEs. Just curious, if possible. Or is it more or less....if Enemythe AI enemy spots your aircraft they will automatically try to engage / fire.... Edited October 28, 2011 by meade95
Slartibartfast Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Its the later... if its a bad guy to them its attacked ROE this is Cold War gone Hot...
+Gr.Viper Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 IIRC, SF2V has ROE on somewhere deep in the settings. ROE meaning AI won't fire BVR at unidentified reds.

I believe the stock campaigns for SF2V have a line that's something like "RulesOfEngagement=True" or something like that. How it works (or if it works) I'm not sure. And obviously, it would only affect AI in that specific campaign.
