Heavy D died today at age 44. Loved his stuff when I was in high school. Looks like pneumonia. RIP

The first song I heard of his was Jam Session with Troo Kula and Biggie. He and the Beastie Boys got me into hip hop... Damn.

His second CD Big Tyme was a hit with us stationed in FLA. Every time we played it, a party broke out! RIP Heav.
