Good afternoon someone could explain to me how to mod weapons to launch the missiles AIM120D-Amraam at a distance greater than 6 km (assuming that these can be thrown over 80km) but i dont know how in SF2, thank you very much for your posible answers .

I could be wrong, but are you targeting in Close In Combat? Within visual range? The weapons are already capable of emulating real world specs, in this case i believe it is "operator error!" You may be targeting in close combat only i suspect.

You should go to "search" or "Track While Scan" mode on the AA radar, lock up a target, and there should be no reason why you are unable to engage a target at weapons max effective range.

TWS mode works every time just did an engagement from 35miles about 50km's with a C-5 Amraam... but I have also acheived a 90mile kill with an Aim-54 from a Tomcat in a HEad on engagement... Long range kills are effective... :drinks:

Where did you get that screen? It mentions that AIM-120D has a maximum range of 180 Km !!! I guess this is a mistake. Maybe 80 Km but not 180 !

Pretty sure the D model is the one that was slated for the B-1R project, it has a very long range, approaching that of the phoenix.
