Slartibartfast 153 Posted February 6, 2012 SIGN IN A SCOTTISH STORE WINDOW. 'WE WOULD RATHER DO BUSINESS WITH 1000 AL QAEDA TERRORISTS THAN WITH ONE SINGLE BRITISH SOLDIER!' This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in CAMPBELTOWN, SCOTLAND. You are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory statement. However, we are a society which holds Freedom of Speech as perhaps our greatest liberty. After all, it is ONLY A SIGN. You may say 'What kind of business would dare to post such a sign?' Answer: A FUNERAL PARLOUR. (WHO SAID SCOTTISH UNDERTAKERS HAVE NO SENSE OF HUMOUR?) YOU GOTTA LOVE IT!!!

exhausted 55 Posted February 7, 2012 Hoorah I would not mind if that was on the Bank of America's doors (assuming they were referring to American Soldiers) due to the fact that I hold Freedom of Speech the 1st, most important staple of free society. That I will happily defend.
Capitaine Vengeur 263 Posted February 7, 2012 True. Context is very important. A sign like "Free service for our Nazi friends" would look very odd at any shop... ... ... ... ... but a circumciser's !
