VoughtCorsair Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Hey.. I got another problem with my terrains, unfortunately :mega_shok: Around my aircraft, there is a zone where textures and objects are well displayed, but beyond this zone, objects don't display anymore, and textures are blurry.. All my settings are unlimited. Is this a limitation of SF2's engine or a bug ? Again, thx for your help ! Quote
Wrench Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 what are your horizon settings, and do you have Fade turned on in the options.ini?? Quote
VoughtCorsair Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 (edited) Horizon is very far; I just turned Fadeobject to false, i'm checking those parameters Edited February 16, 2012 by VoughtCorsair Quote
VoughtCorsair Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 Same results with Fade off. Quote
Wrench Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 even with my monster quad-core, and vid card, I set the horizon to normal. try that. Quote

VoughtCorsair Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 (edited) Well, my problem is solved, but not completly. I had to extract flightengine.ini in the mods folder. Now all objects appear correclty, but I have this.. I'm testing all the parameters in .ini files Edited February 16, 2012 by VoughtCorsair Quote
+russouk2004 Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 looks like an HORIZON image file is mmissing or corrupt? Quote
VoughtCorsair Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 Well, it seems to work with "HorizonDistance=" below 80000.0 in flightengine.ini. Strange... Quote
Wrench Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 why would you mess with that??? set your horizon disance from the game control menus ... Options/Graphics, and then fiddle from there. return the FE.ini back to stock (or better yet, just rename it so the game wont see it) Quote
VoughtCorsair Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 Without FE.ini, my first problem comes back Quote
