disk cleanup utility disappeared

Hi, my disk cleanup utility under system tools in vista is not there after hitting start. is there another location to use this. i need to free up disk space. looks like some trojan or virus removed it from start menu. thx.

Did you try command line?

 

c:\windows\cleanmgr.exe /d<drive>

 

where <drive> is the drive letter of the hard disk you want to clean.

did you mean msconfig? i cvant remember

Go start - then type "cleanup" into the search box - disk cleanup will appear (well it does on 7)

 

if not there is a much longer way
