AJAY67 Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Hi community, Before I ask, I would like to stress that I have read all of the FAQ's and notes explicitly, but I am still having some issues with some of the mods that I have installed. I am mostly having issues with installing the high detail seats and pilots. I am at a loss, because I have followed the instructions, but they are still not there. I have even placed the objects within the actual aircraft folders, as per the SFP1 days. There are only a few places I *think* I may have gone wrong: 1. I downloaded the A6E TRAM from Column 5's site. Is this an old version? 2. I downloaed the FA/18 package from here, I'm sure it's up to date. 3. Within my Thirdwire\SFNA directory, I have all of the required directories. The only thing I can think of is must I also copy those folders to my SF2 Europe folder as well? My sim is patched to the latest version. 4. Lastly, with the imported aircraft, the decals are not showing, even though I have dropped those into the correct folders too! No UAC switched on with my system. Thanks all, Andrew. Quote
+Dave Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Andrew Did you put the files where the exe for SFNA is? Quote
+Soulfreak Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 1. Yes it´s an older one. For Mods: SF2 uses another Filedirectory for add ons as the 1st gen of the sim. This may help: http://combatace.com/topic/62302-what-is-the-mod-folder/page__p__471990__hl__mods+folder__fromsearch__1#entry471990 Quote
AJAY67 Posted March 26, 2012 Author Posted March 26, 2012 Hi Guys, Dave, I did not put those files into the root of the executable folder, no. Is that where they are meant to be? My mods are all in the Saved games\Thirdwire\Wo_ directories. Cheers, Andrew. Quote

Also make sure there isnt a folder nested in another folder. Quote
AJAY67 Posted March 27, 2012 Author Posted March 27, 2012 Hi Dave, Nothing nested in my "Pilots" folder. Within, it has the seat type/name folder, and the lods inside each one. BUT, seems my F-18 folders are nested, so I have: (Sqdrn Name\D\ and then the TGA files within. I'll move them out and see what happens. Still at a loss about the seats and pilots though. Thanks for all the help. Andrew. :-) Quote
AJAY67 Posted March 27, 2012 Author Posted March 27, 2012 Resolved. :-) Thanks for your help everybody, and feel free to laugh at my stupidity...LOL Andrew. Quote
