WOI crashes in windows vista

well, first, Im not used to forums, sorry if this is not the appropiate section, feel free to move it

 

second, I installed wings over israel a days ago in my old laptop with windows xp without having any problems, today I tryed to install from same disc, he has a desk windows vista pc, running in 64 bits, I think,

 

well, after a short demo of the game, when I tryed to finish the mission (there is not other way than pressing esc key) the game closed returning back to windows instead of showing the debrief screen. Already followed the steps in this guide http://combatace.com/topic/34221-running-any-thirdwire-sim-in-windows-vista-by-usafmtl-column5-jtin/ except for the step 5, I couldt find the flightengine.ini file

Check the KB. It's Map water effect's related with Vista I beleave.

The Flight enigne.ini has to be extracted form the FlightData.cat

dunno, I made an Iso of the exe to make it portable, I wanted to have it in both my office and house
