RogerSmith Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 sorry to annoy you with more questions. I have a jet where the rudders are moving vertically instead of horizontally when I turn them, is there anyway to fix that? How do I remove the dark squares behind the text for speed, heading, etc? Anyway to change font size? anyway to show both TAS and IAS on HUD and not show "Mach X.XX" speed? any HDR mods that work for current version of SF2+NA+Viet+Israel+Euro? Quote

Wrench Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) NEVER edit your cockpit or avionics inis unless you're changed HOW the radars and such work. what radpig is asking is about the text displays, background tga, and HUDData info the things he want to change are found in the HudData.ini, located in the /FlightData.cat. Extract, place in /Flight folder and edit away to remove the backgrond from messages, you'll need to extract the MessageSystem.ini, again from the FlightData.cat, place it in the /Flight folder and edit the relevant line (by edit, we mean 'comment out', via double slash //) Edited July 24, 2012 by Wrench Quote
RogerSmith Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) Great, I can change the size and font and everything. And for gits and shiggles I used Celestia Redux (a very cartoony font). I used Trajan Pro which makes the letters much more legible when in smaller font size than Arial. Is there anyway to change the visually targeted friendly letters on the bottom right to green? I have a hard time reading anything in dark blue, makes my eyes feel funny. Edited July 24, 2012 by RadPig94 Quote
Wrench Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 yes but you need to know the RGB color values, and then convert to hexidecimal, as that what the game reads Quote
RogerSmith Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) oh found one way, I just went into the EASYAVIONICS and copied Font Color value 0.000000,0.76171875,0.000000,1.000000 and pasted it over the Friendly Target Color. But how do I convert RGB to Hexadecimal so I can change Waypoint cone and triangle to a purple? EDIT: oh I get it now. R=125/225 G= 0/225 B= 125/225 Edited July 24, 2012 by RadPig94 Quote
Wrench Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 there are online convertes; goolge "RGB to hex" Quote
