Of course, the Queen's escort with James Bond and their airborne "entrance" into the stadium was just fantastic! Well done!!! My only regret is for those viewers who had to endure the incessant babbling of Matt Laurer, Meredtih Vierra and Bob Costas...OMG!!! STFU!!! NBC (Nitwit Babble Crew) should have done this without a play by play for the show... And now, time to see if I can see some Judo... Keep calm and carry on, it's just the Olympics... Quote

A lot of it was a showing of British history I think intertwined with Olympic themes - for example at the start you get green fields, then Brunel comes along and starts the industrial revolution that forges the 5 rings at the end of it - yeah I had to see it a few times myself to actually see all the things going on.
