Been there in 2010, one of the best airshows I've ever been!

 

Unfortunately, due to a slight health issue I couldn't make the climb this year. I planned to go to Meiringen air base with some friends to see takeoffs and landings, but it was very foggy. The runway was used as a parking lot for cars, and when we asked a soldier where the aircraft would have taken off from, he replied: "From Sion [on the other side of Switzerland]! They can't take off from here with this fog."
