I've just installed this mod F-16A

http://combatace.com/files/file/12743-updated-f-16a-block-10/

Really nice!

Strangely though, you can select LGB's in the load out screen, but there are no pods that go with it.

If I load a paveway anyway, i can only release one of them... The others stay on the wing for lack of a guidance pod.

How can I change this?

Do I need to change the loadout.ini?

I think that's probably how it was in real life. They would have needed the targets marked by other aircraft or ground units.

As far as I know SF2 can't replicate this.

The first one guiding simulates a buddy lase by an imaginary other entity (SF team or other aircraft). During a strike mission, after the primary target is destroyed and your aircraft does not have a targeting pod you will not be able to drop the remaining bombs. Its a feature of the sim.

F-16A-10's never carried LGB's outside of testing... SF2 does replicate targeting if I remember correctly but only for the primary target.

As long as you're carrying a laser designator pod, any aircraft in the game can be equipped with LG munitions. Whether it's a realistic depiction or not is another matter, depending on if you really care that much about what 'realistic' means.
