Pack de Skins para el F-86F de las FFAA Españolas.

 

 

Mod basado en el F-86F-30FB disponible en la instalación de Nato Fighters 5 (NF5)

 

Fueron cedidos un total de 270 aviones por la USAF a España dentro del Programa de Asistencia y Defensa Mútua (MADP).

 

Formaron las alas 1 Manises, 2 Zaragoza, 4 Mallorca (Formada por un escuadron procedente de Manises), 5 Moron y 6 Torrejon, asi como el 98 escuadron del Mando Aereo Tactico y el 732 Escuadron de la escuela de reactores.

 

Entraron en servicio en 1955 y en 1970, tras mas de 350.000 horas de vuelo fueron dados de baja para sustituirlos por los F-5

They were assigned to Wings 1 Manises, 2 Zaragoza, 4 Mallorca (Formed by a squadron from Manises), 5 Moron and 6 Torrejon, also 98 Tactical Air Command Squadron and 732 Squadron for reactor´s school.

 

Entered service in 1955 and in 1970, after more than 350,000 flight hours were discharged to replace them for the F-5

@ Kevin - as the best Sabre Expert around, I think that should be up to You after A / E / F Korean Age big compilations, reorder and repack ALL the other F-86F around the world. Now in few days we had outstanding Spanish, Greek, Portuguese and if You add your fantastic Japanese and so on, my Yugoslav ones, and all others made in these long years we will have a fantastic air show !

 

So please do it!

i've been slowly reworking some fo the JASDF ones, but they're way donw o the list... was even trying to redo MY original EDA one, but can't get the cross right (Maclena told me so!! ). I"m sssooooooooooooooooooo far behind on my terrain works, and right now building the skin for Veltro's B-17F.

plus all the WW2 aircraft remods....

But, someday soon! (with Fubars FM, too!)

 

those new skins, while nice, really suffer from not having Volker's Hi-Rez template to build from.

maybe we should ask Volker about that....?????

Really, resolution (512x512) is a problem, (for example, CL-13B_62 skins are 1024x1024, that lets work better and more defined.) i tried zoom these ones, but looses too much definition....

 

these templates could be interesting.....

 

other way can be, making a new temps using a mixture between CL-13B_62 skins and Guest´s Temps (for references), by hand of course. but time is gold......

 

in all cases, i´m willing to improve.

well, the Paki and KAW sabres are 2048 jpgs... of course, we used ravenclaw's template.

 

we just have to ask him nicely, methinks!
