Base Aerienne 701, where the Patrouille is based, hosts the École de l'Air, the French Air Force Academy. Static display: Dassault Rafale Dassault Mirage 2000C Dassault Mirage 2000N Dassault Mirage F1 Fouga Magister with an Air France DC-3 in the background There was quite a strong wind During the morning the display line was backlit, so not many good photos... Eurocopter EC-725 Caracal during a fast-rope insertion Red Arrows, Frecce Tricolori and Patrouille de France's leaders Team Iskry and Patrouille Suisse in formation with Patrouille de France's camera ship Royal Air Force's Red Arrows flyng BAe Hawks Belgian Air Force's Red Devils flying SIAI-Marchetti SF-260s Fouga Magister And then the afternoon's displays, now with the sun behind the public! A glider of the Academy Ramex Delta flying Mirage 2000Ns An airshow without afterburners is not worth living for Polish Air Force's Team Iskry flyng PZL TS-11 Iskras Spanish Air Force's Patrulla Aguila flyng CASA C-101 Aviojets Belgian Air Force's F-16 solo: Equipe de Voltige de l'Armèe de l'Air's Extra 300 Airbus A400M Grizzly Swiss Air Force's Patrouille Suisse flying Northrop F-5 Tiger IIs This formation is called Toblerone due to its triangular shape (I don't know if you have Toblerone across the pond, in case you don't it's a brand of Swiss chocolate famous for its triangular shape) The usual display team draws the national flag with smoke. Not the Swiss one. They draw the flag's + with the aircraft themselves! Italian Air Force's Frecce Tricolori flying Aermacchi MB.339s This maneuver is named lomçevak (Czech for "drunk man"... I think). The MB.339 is the only jet aircraft that can perform this maneuver. French Air Force's Dassault Rafale.
