Mitsubishi A6E "Paco" - Spanish Nationalist Air Force

Recommended Posts

Let's assume that the spanish civil war did not end in 1939 but in, let's say, 1942. And that the republican forces obtained a considerable amount of british Spitfires and other western allies aircraft, making the ME109 E-Type a bit "underpowered" to face that manouverable planes. As being aided by the axis forces Germany and Italy, Japan sent enough A6M2 fighter planes to Spain to equip two complete wings with them, giving the Republicans in their Spits a bad surprise.

Very good Mario.

Funny thing is, my gut instinct would be that the 'Emil' would still prevail over the 'Zero'.
