+Olham Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 (edited) Yesterday I read this from Albert Einstein - many of you may know it, but it was new to me, and I like it: "The universe and the human stupidity are both infinite. Though - I'm not yet totally sure about the universe there." Edited November 19, 2013 by Olham Quote
+RAF_Louvert Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 . Albert was great. One of my favs is his explanation of relativity: “Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.” Even I can understand that. . Quote
+Florian Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Never forget my favorite from Mr.E... "I don't know what kind of weapons will be used in the third world war, but I can tell you what the fourth world war will be fought with -- sticks and stones..." Quote

It has a strong ring of truth, though. Edited November 19, 2013 by Olham Quote
von Baur Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Not Einstein, but Lucy van Pelt once said to her brother, Linus, "The quality of your stupidity is rising." I always liked that one. Used it a time or two myself. Quote
AROTH Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Yesterday I read this from Albert Einstein - many of you may know it, but it was new to me, and I like it: "The universe and the human stupidity are both infinite. Though - I'm not yet totally sure about the universe there." Sadly and unfortunately, that is very true.... Quote
