A little paint project help?..

So Im using the F-104C from the SFVgold add on and I was trying to touch up the tip tanks. The SEA cammo tanks have a perfectly drawn line separating the green from white. I've seen some pics where the demarcation line is purposefully wavy. I tried to tweek them in ms paint but It looks terrible. Could someone with a modicum of skill just fudge the line a little?

You'd be better off working in layers with GIMP (freeware) and then doing your wavy line by gently erasing away the edges of the green layer on the demarcation line or introducing another layer specifically for a white wavy line using a soft paint brush.

if one can't avail themselves of Photoshop, the best alternative are GIMP and Paint.net. Both free

 

if you plan on doing ANY kind of skin work, now would be the time to go get 'em
