Been having a tough time after installing current mods from CA. I've read most all issues regarding the July 2013 patch which my SF2/Wox_V2 series are patched to. TOOOOOOOO frustrating! Is there a more compatible (earlier) patch that will work better?

Thanks, NIELS

Depends on the Mod - they should state what they were tested under.

If you want to use them in later patches (but you get issues) then - depends on the problem - you can extract the newer ini files and make changes to them to replace the old ini's that come with the mod.

For anything else then there is likely a way round it - unless its a feature that a later patch has removed via core game coding.

Thanks MigBuster, I kinda figured it was to broad a question. I guess I'll just have to work around the items you mentioned or reinstall to an earlier patch level maybe................Sure would like to do more flyin than adjusting, tweaking, fine tuning etc.

Much appreciated, NIELS

Most mods support July 2012... When I asked a similar question they answered May 2013.. So I could recommend that. But as Migbuster said check each addon in their readme if they require a specific version.

Thanks Snailman, I guess I was in a hurry and wanted all TW sims to be up to date before adding mods. It was several months ago I reinstalled my TW stuff to my new rig and I'm still trying to get an era together to my taste. I will probably start over with the install/patch process with the patches you suggested and read the info with the mods more closely instead of hoping everything would click with the latest patch...........If only both PC hardware and software was compatible across the board............Wishful thinking on my part.

Much appreciated,  NIELS
