and, yes I know we've plenty of native German speakers

 

I just came across the official 1944 Luftwaffe manual for the FuG-217 radar on pdf.

(see below)

 

meaning: if Veltro is going to give us 262B-1a/U1, we might as well get the avionics right!!! :biggrin:

(and yes I know it carried the 218 Neptun, but this is damn close enough!)
