zmatt Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 I've noticed that Luftwaffe aircraft either when I fly them or encounter them as reds only come solo. I have made the recommended nations.ini changes to add nazi germany and That shows up fine in game. How do I make sure they come in larger groups? it's not fun taking on single 109s with a squadron of P-51s. Quote
Wrench Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 (edited) do you have the proper ww2 formations ini??? http://combatace.com/topic/73567-ww2-nations-formations-inis/ Edited April 29, 2014 by Wrench Quote
SayethWhaaaa Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 it's not fun taking on single 109s with a squadron of P-51s. Although, probably unintentionally realistic if it takes place early 1945. Quote
zmatt Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 do you have the proper ww2 formations ini??? http://combatace.com/topic/73567-ww2-nations-formations-inis/ Wrench in yet again to save the day. I'm running merged with all my mods in the base SF2 mods folder. Can I just dump my WW2 mods into say the SF2:E mods folder for it to be "stand alone"? Quote
DARoot Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Greetings, Zmatt Since you want to "..dump all your WW II mods.." into a SF2Europe folder and have them be "..stand-alone,.." I'd sorta recommend you do what everybody seems to recommend for "total conversion"-type mods, and create a whole new "Mods" folder for them (by making copies of your "Strike Fighters 2 Europe.exe" and "StrikeFighters 2 Europe.ini" files, re-naming them, running them to create a new WW II-dedicated "Mods" folder named whatever you renamed them, yada, yada, etc...), and putting all your WW II mods into that. Probably be your best option. But, who am I to give advice .... Happy Gaming! DARoot Quote
Wrench Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 sure you can dump them in there ... but it'll fuck things up beyond all recovery!! like DaRoot said, ALL ww2 stuff is designed to be used in their own seperate dedicated mods folders; one for each area of interest (PTO, CBI, MTO, ETO, etc) Quote
zmatt Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 Gotcha, sorry the "dedicated mods folder" thing threw me off. Quote
