RA-5C, anyone remember who built the very first one ?

Long ago, way before Julhelm's there was an early RA-5C with a recon canoe implemented as a weapon, it either never had a readme or I lost it, does any old hand remember whose it is and under which licence it would fall ?

 

I'm specifically interested in the canoe for use on the Arrow and TSR.2 and eventual bundling for release.

The download you're looking for is at Check-Six -- or was at one time. It's an RA-5C package uploaded by Rhugouvi. He credits MontyCZ for the model (which is different from Julhelm's) and Paul Nortress for the one skin included with the package. He writes:

 

Most of the model is based on the A-5B created by MontyCZ. I've modded the camera gondola (called the canoe) and the strobe, their textures and the related .ini tweaks needed.

 

 

So, credit for those would go to Rhugouvi, if I'm interpreting that correctly. ReadMe does not specify any restrictions on use, noting only:

 

This is freeware add-on package.

I use that canoe to make it look like i have a EA-3 for my carrier :-)

Thanks Eric, I apparently missed it, C6 is such a mess, I'll check it and ask Rhugouvi then.

If you do a search here for Vigilante you get the SF1 versions (I think the A-5B but not an RA-5C) which were made by MontyCZ. I think the A-5B was subsequently modded into an RA-5C but can't remember if MontyCZ did it himself or someone else did.
