I think those 2.75 FFR's had a range of about 2.5mi......shotgun effect on bomber flights...

Just finished reading a piece on the avionics/weapons fit on these.Including the collision intercept guidance sytem, with it's launch and breakaway cue lights (you'd want to be trusting ), but also the big problems they had when trying to get the rockets to fire in limited ripple mode. Firing one, fine, firing the lot, fine, firing a few, problems.
