Interesting research on Oscar.

If the data is correct the author comes to a reasonable conclusion, IMHO.  So, crack open those K-43 data.inis and change one of the 7.7's to "12.7MM_Ho103". Limit MaxAmmo= to 300. As the 2 - 7.7mm versions were fairly common, you can copy and rename the "1 & 1" version Ki-43Ib or something to differentiate the 2.

There are newer and much more accurate Ki-43 Oscar models, both Ki-41-I and Ki-43-II, included in the DAT PTO all-inclusive mod, and they seem to have incorporated this research. They are Gen2 models, though.

The Ki-43-I has one 7.7mm Type 89 MG and one 12.7mm Ho103 MG, and the Ki-43-II has 2 x 12.7mm Ho103 MG.
