Thanks FRPignon - For both the Harrier and Rafale I'm using the North Atlantic features...

Regards,

Chris

Uhmmm, I tested my installation and everything is fine, could you please give more information about your problems? Thanks!!!

indeed, FR did a HELL of a job on the terrain!!

Well I just make it a little bit nicer for the users eyesight . However, it was a very painful job to do.

Open the file called: Operation_OD_Data.ini

And then set this statement to FALSE at the start of the campaign code:

And with this trick you can have all the weapons you want.

..................

Ok, about the Harrier and the Rafale , just tell me if you are using the campaign with NA features, or the normal campaign. And then, I'll be able to give you a solution.

Yes the terrain is great, It was originally made by Wrench but I re-tile it using JSF_angee tile sets, and now it looks amazing!!

Hmm.. Still stymied here. I set that statement to FALSE, but the aircraft still have limited inventories. I even tried changing the aircraft inventory supply parameters but it doesn't seem to change what I have available to load:

Does anyone have a good configuration file for possible weapons the Rafale-M could carry? The default campaign ini (Operation_OD_Data.ini) gives this:

Supply[001].WeaponType=M2k_RP2000R
Supply[001].Quantity=40
Supply[002].WeaponType=MICA_IR
Supply[002].Quantity=140
Supply[003].WeaponType=SBU-54
Supply[003].Quantity=180
Supply[004].WeaponType=PDLCT
Supply[004].Quantity=180
Supply[005].WeaponType=Rafale-1250_FT
Supply[005].Quantity=80

But I'd like to be able to carry a wider range of weapons..conceding that it would be historically inaccurate in exchange for a bit more excitement..

Problem solved! As usual..it was an error on my part! <for shame> I did not have the Operation_OD_Data.ini file in the correct sub-directory in the mod folder.  I had it simply residing in /Campaigns when it needed to be in /Campaigns/Operation_OD

Sorry for the run around..I think I'm in business!

So I have my Rafale-M loadout problems solved. The only issue remaining is that when I start the campaign using the Rafale-M, the second I get into the mission I explode because I'm spawning in on land in the middle of terrain rather than on the carrier. Any ideas on what I can do to fix that?

Many thanks to FRP!

Uhmmm the campaign code is correct, please check if in your GroundObject you have a file called: "deGaulle"

Are you using an install with SF2NA?

That was it! Dangit..I knew it was something I probably did. I had the GroundObject folder outside of the Objects folder instead of inside of it. But just for the ships objects. I don't know how I managed to do that. So now I have the deGaulle and Rafale M working!

I think I'm ready to fly. I did manually add some additional weapons capability to the Rafale M, but some of them don't appear to hang on the pylons correctly..but it is hard to notice..

Thanks for the assistance!

Hello it seems like I have a little problem with your mod. The campaigns lack the AI versions of laser guided bombs that my wing man should use.

INSTALLATION: SF2 europe, Israel, north Atlantic and Vietnam merged folder with num 1 and num 2 DLCS all patched to July 2013

PATH: path of mod is in c\users\david\saved games\thirwire\strike fighters 2 Libyan conflict

path of game: D\games\strike fighters 2

CAMPAIGN WORKING: yes

AIR UNIT OF THE CAMPAIGN: all air units

AIRCRAFT USED BY AIR UNIT: the problem appears in all campaigns I've tried in all air units.

No AI version of smart bombs

Posted

Another small issue. Rafale C's radar isn't working in all units. It's supposed to show air and ground threats but instead it's empty even when I am near enemies

Posted

And one last thing, I downloaded the mod twice and all the Harrier folders don't have the avionics file, nor any other file other than a configuration file named after the model of the Harrier, for example Harrier1

Hello Guys and Girls?

i also have the problem with the Weapons!

Fly a Campaign with a CF-18 IMP II Lybia and it doesn't matter what mission i fly. when i go to loadouts everything is empty except for the inner wing pylons with sidewinders. i can't select fuel tanks or sniper pods.
in the campaign ini the supply is limited to:
Supply[001].WeaponType=Tank300_CF18
Supply[001].Quantity=24
Supply[002].WeaponType=GBU-12E_Grey
Supply[002].Quantity=120
Supply[003].WeaponType=AIM-9L
Supply[003].Quantity=40
Supply[004].WeaponType=Sniperxr
Supply[004].Quantity=40

But I can't select anything of those manually.
but all other possible weapons that the CF-18 doesn't have in this campaign.
But when I'm in the loadout menu, I have all kinds of weapons to choose from, but I can't select them from my weapon pylons.

I only noticed this when I flew a mission where I was already bingo with normal fuel before I got to the target.
i wanted to install fuel tanks but i couldn't select them.
What is wrong????? please help me. i know the mod or thred is older.

Happy flying

Like some other people, I notice that weapons seem to be extremely limited; with the Belgian, Danish F-16, and someother planes I get Strike missions when I don't have strike weapons available. Setting the LimitedSupplyList variable to FALSE remedies this, but is this lack of weapons on purpose? Seems weird to get strike missions when you don't have weapons. I realise that the missions was a no-fly zone. Should I re-roll the mission until I get a non-strike mission?

Cool mod! Cheers.
