Carrier capable Atlantic Conveyor

I am working on Polak's MV Atlantic Conveyor. I have mailed him asking for permission to post it once finished, but no answer so far :dntknw: . Anyway, I want to share with you guys how this small project is going.  I am editing the MV Atlantic Conveyor included in the Falklands War Redux mod, to make it dynamic, as any other ship, and to make it possible to have Harriers take-off and land from and on its deck. As you can see in the shots, the Harrier starts on the deck. When releasing the brakes, it's catapulted, as in any other aircraft carrier. Can I change that, so the only way to take off is vertically? Or is it an engine limitation? I would like to hear your opinion, critics, advice.  :dance2:

Its possible, can't quite remember how its done though and I'm away from my game rig so can't check. There are a couple of mods of the US LHA's and the Kiev that do precisely that, bear in mind though that the AI dosn't do VTOL so the "no cat spot" wlil be player only.

ignacioc91, you should take a look at the "Vertical Pack for Soviet Navy 1.0" mod by Snailman and the "LHA mod for stock SF2NA version 1.0" mod by JSF_Aggie.
