DARoot Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 What is the best way to adjust the bullet aim point for guns? I'm using MK2's "Russianized" F-4E cockpits for my MiG-21s, but the bullets fire too high (about at the top of the sight circle) and I want to "center" them. I've extracted the "F-4Ecockpit.ini" from Objectsdata.cat and played with the numbers in the cockpit position and viewangle entires, but nothing seems to work out satisfactorily. Any suggestions? +Dave Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Not sure my friend, I would ask Mk2 I think he knows. Quote
DARoot Posted April 30, 2005 Author Posted April 30, 2005 Thanks Found what I needed in the "ReadMe" file for Wrench's modification of the F-4 cockpit for the B-57 Canberra. Apparently you can add a line to the gun information in the aircraft data.ini file for "AimAngles=x.x,y.y,z.z" to adjust where the bullets go. Works a treat! Quote
+Wrench Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 Glad you found it. And even gladder that it worked on the Fishbed. Another suggestion, albeit not particualry accurate, would be to use the A-4E's pit, as it's single engine with a radar display. Or even better, get 'Herosussr' zip {I think you can get it here}, as it has a super Fishbed cockpit! Wrench Kevin Stein Quote
