Ugh I wish I had time to get back into my The StrikeFighters strategic theme. This plane (more likely A-12) had a role in it I planned.

 

M=3.5 @ 90,000ft was the original Kelly Johnson goal, and he always reached his goals, and unlike Convair, Kellly had no interest in stealth at the time, but CIA wanted stealth so the performance had to be radically lowered....lol.
