WOV - What patches a "must"

Just got WOV and am confused about the SF and WOV inter-relatioship. Besides the official 2 patches for WOV...what other patches are a "must" for WOV? Wanted to put new SAM 2 patch in but could not find .ini file the readme was referring to, so I'm assuming it was for SF. Can you pros from Dover help this ol' cobra pilot out? Thanks and keep the greasy side down and whirly thing up!

JUst patch to patch 2 and you are set. I am not sure what SAM patch you are referring to.

USAFMTL is correct about official patches... just two.

 

There are many planes and campaigns you can add on depending on what you like.

 

For example there is stuff for the A-1H, including campaigns etc.

 

Not sure if there is a must have per se, but there are special effects packs, weapons packs (if you add more planes), campaigns, a lot of stuff. I wil be releasing a VPAF campaing this weekend (almost like a different game) if you like MIGS.

 

Also SF1 was the first game and WOV was the second game released. Most add on planes work in both. Just go to the download section and experiment with what catches your eye.

You probably need to extract the .ini from a Cat using the SFP1E extraction tool (available in the dl section here).
