For those who have it, or anyone who knows, does Project 1 have a mission Editor?

And while on the topic, My favorite mission Editor of all time has got to be the one included in the Janes USNF/Anthology series. Being able to place individual objects, assigning object way-points, and attributes I thought was handle nicely for a survey type sim. I built some pretty interesting mission (IMHO).

Why have most developers not adapted an approach to mission Editors like the above mentioned. Falcon 4, Janes F-18 have good editors. But I would like to see Project 1 with a simular Editor as the earlier EA/Janes series

Opinions?

That's a good question, I've been wondering about that lately, as I don't remember anyone talking about a mission editor. TK, can you comment on this?

Of course, I'll know personally here in the next day or two...

Hi BirdDogg,

The game doesn't have a mission editor just yet, it instead has a mission generator that randomly generates missions. We're planning to put a full editor together and release it later on the web, though.

(if anyone's really impatient and must create missions now, we might release the file format - its all in text - so you can create your mission on your notepad...;)

Thanks,

TK

Thanks TK, that excellent news. I think I'll wait for the planned editor. But my hats off too you and your crew because this sim is going to be a classic, I just feel it!

Thanks agian TK.
