I was looking through June’s Combat Aircraft Monthly and found a really unusually painted F-4E, well not a F-4E anymore as it is one of the last the QF-4E. For some reason I really like the scheme. It is a heavily weathered and faded SEA scheme that a bunch of QF-4E were re-painted in as a USAF ‘heritage’ flight for the air show circuit. This particular Phantom 72-0140/ AF-335 is even more unusual due to the Hill Grey nose cone and WW II style USAF roundels???

I couldn't resist skinning it! Making the the QF-4E was easy just deactivated the gun as well as the radar and removed the WSO and his seat.
