WINGEDHUSSAR Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 I got the latest SFP1 patch (oct2008) so I can make some SF2 planes work (some already work when the game was unpatched, but not getting into all that), but now whenever I try to fly, the game crashes and I get an error message. I keep getting a prompt saying "d3dx9_31.dll is missing" and I have no idea what that means. Quote

Geary Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 CRentzell95, What operating system are you running? If you are running Windows 7, look in C:\Windows\System32 for d3dx9_31.dll. If it's not there, get a copy and put it in that folder. If the game works after that, fine. If not... Try copying it to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 if you are running a 64-bit WIndows. Good luck, Quote
