  1. Wolf257's Tomahawk is good but needs an .lod cockpit. No place to place an instrument panel on it. Looks kind of naked inside the cockpit looking from the outside. I'm reskinning planes for my 1948 Israel - Arab conflict and would like a plane with a visible instrument panel. With all the P-40's around, I can't seem to find a B model except for Wolf257's old Tomahawk. TIA, Geary
  2. Kevin, Thanks for pointing me to Raven's P-40B's. Saw them before but guess they slipped my mind. Got one from your MTO package that will work for 1948 Egyptian Air Force with a little tweaking. Can't find a template for it though. Found templates for Raven's other P-40's but not this one. I wonder if one of the other's will work for the B model? But if you have one handy, I could sure use it. Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to your Indochina install.
  3. Absolutely right. I'm doing the P-40B/Tomahawk next and had it on my mind while posting the Hurricane picture. Got it fixed. Thanks for the catch. Mandatory picture(s). Harvard / T-6 Texan in service with opposing Air Forces in the Sinai, 1948.
  4. Egyptian Hurricane IIB patrolling Egyptian border, 1948. Raven's Hurricane IIB with new line, rivets, paint, etc... WIP.
  5. MC 205 Veltro in Egyptian service patrolling the Sinai, 1948. New lines, rivets, paint, etc... WIP.
  6. IDF S-199 Sakeen out looking for a fight, 1948. IDioT Team's S-199 with new lines, rivets, paint, etc... WIP.
  7. Rusty, Once you've created a vanilla install for ODS, it starts up with the generic game. You must 'clean out' planes, etc. you don't want in your ODS install and place the ODS files into the generic game folder you created for your ODS install. Don't know if I'm making sense or not...
  8. P-51D Mustang in service with the Israeli Defense Force 1948 and 1956. (Not quite WWII, but close on it's heels.) Wolf257's P-51D-30 Mustang with new lines, rivets, paint, etc... WIP.
  9. Storm "Clare" shape of things to come ?

russ, Very cute little storm. I live in Florida in the US. We call that a cool breeze.
  10. Yes, as Wrench says, don't install to the default folder. I forgot that bit as I always install my flight sim games on my second hard drive by force of habit. Thanks, Wrench.
  11. My SF1 in Windows 10 settings. 1. Install latest DX9. I'm not sure but I believe the latest DX9 driver is 'directx_Jun2010_redist.exe.' It can be found on the internet. 2. Install ENBseries. I use FalconC45's 'HDR Mod 1.01A' found here, 'https://combatace.com/files/category/747-environmental-mods/?page=2.' The HDR Mod 1.01A is for high end Nvidia graphics cards. There is also a mod for ATI/AMD graphics cards on that download page. 3. Install the game BUT NOT in the default installation folders. Put it in the C: root folder or on another drive. 4. Set SF1/WOX .exe file compatibility mode to: 1 - Check box for 'Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (Service Pack 3).' 2 - Check box for 'Run this program as an administrator.' Your compatibility mode might differ. You might need to experiment with different settings to find the right one for your computer. 5. I use '4gb_patch.exe.' I don't know if it makes much difference, but it doesn't stop the game from playing. It can be found about 10 files down here: https://ntcore.com/?page_id=345. 6. Because I also play my SF2 games on the same Windows 10 computer, and because I have an Nvidia graphics card, and because new Nvidia drivers seem to cause SF2 to go 'black' when graphics are set to 'Unlimited' when the mission starts, I still use an old set of drivers that allow me to set my graphics to 'Unlimited.' I use Nvidia drivers; 418.91-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe. You might need to experiment with different graphics card drivers to find the right one for your computer. I don't know if this these graphics drivers make a difference with the SF1 games, but both SF1 and SF2 work for me on Windows 10 with these settings and adjustments. Remember computers differ, so my settings and adjustments might not work for your setup. Good luck. Geary
  12. It's probably not your video card, but the drivers. Have you updated them recently?
  13. If you have a nvidia graphics card updated drivers might be the problem. If that's the case, try reverting to the last working set of drivers.
  14. JohnLewis141997 FE and All SF1 games run on my Window 10 computers. Takes a bit of tweaking to get them running. But I'm also keeping a couple of Windows 7 computers for games that don't run on Windows 10.
  15. ErikGen's old AMD_SM_B2 Super Mystere B2 with new lines, rivets, paint, etc. WIP. For France. A sliver one for Israel... ...and a camo version.
  16. ajunaidr's old dm-4a Mystere IVA with new lines, rivets, paint, etc. in two flavors, IDF Camo and plain Aluminium (with a Suez Stripe accessory). WIP.
  17. Mystere IVA over Europe. ajunaidr's old SF1 dm-4a Mystere IVA with new lines, rivets, etc... WIP.
  18. Vampires looking for blood. Pasko's old Vampire with new lines, rivets, etc... WIP.
  19. The only major problem I've had running SF2 in Win 10 has been with my Nvidia graphics card drivers. Updated drivers cause the game to go black when starting a mission if the game's graphics settings are set to 'unlimited.' It works fine on 'high' graphic setting. The 'fix' for me has been to keep an old set of drivers installed so I can run the game on 'unlimited' setting. If you don't use a Nvidia graphics card you might not have this problem.
  20. Spitting Venom! (PauloPanz repainted skin.) Natural Metal / Aluminium. WIP repainted lines, rivets, template, etc.
  21. Like Gepard said, which game are the pictures from? Did these games work before? Also, for SF1 to work with Win 7 you must have Direct X 9 installed. The last version of that is 'directx_Jun2010_redist.exe.' But I assume you have it installed or I think it wouldn't start. Once DX9 is installed, try loading a clean install of Strike Fighter Project 1. Update it to the Oct 2008 update. The problem you describe with your SF1 sounds like it might be a video problem. Windows 10 has this same problem. It's fixed on many computers with the HDR mods in the Combat Ace download section. Also try updating you video drivers. If you are using video that's part of your motherboard, you might try a video card to see it that fixes the problem. Good luck,
  22. Any way you want to release these is fine with me. Just release them and thanks. (P.S. Don't forget the MTO P-38's also need some TLC.)
  23. Cutting Board Computer

bazillius, You are right. It is useless to someone who has no use for it, but I built it with a specific purpose in mind. I use it for testing computer parts. It's a test board. Quite easy to get to any area I need on it. And it does attract attention when it's hanging on the wall when not being used.
  24. My new cutting board computer. I needed a test motherboard. A motherboard became available. A few rubber spacer, a few wood screws and voila, a cutting board test board.
