I'd go with a 100 klm,, and here's something that will totally goof you up the radar is in nautical miles and target information is in statued miles

Is there any mod out there that could make it easier to figures this out? Or make it a little more realistic

From the planning map screen,

I can see that :

Way Point 2 should be reached within a minute

Way Point 3 should be reached in 15 minutes / Speed is 470 kts

WP 4 13 minutes later at 470 kts

WP 6 (at 00:32)

WP 7 (at 00:45 so) 13 minutes later / still 470 kts

WP 8 15 minutes later

The convenient parameter is the constant speed between two way points

470 kts is 7.83 nautical miles per minutes (470 nautical miles per hour / 60 minutes of the hour)

13 minutes at 470 kts is 101 nautical miles

15 minutes at 470 kts is 117 nautical miles

bad thing is indicated air speed is not ground speed...

But knowing the terrain (Germany) I think it's should be close to what the DME will indicate.

In most aircraft you have 2 speed indicaters airspeed and mach indicater found that out in the B-52 when I was setting bomb tables couldn't figure out for the life of me why I couldn't get over 435 knts at 30,000 ft,, I was actually going mach 0.82

Approximately 50NM.  I put two waypoints on the planning map as close to straight as possible, and as close to each bar as possible (when you zoom in on the planning map, there's still some error).  Took off and flew to the first point.  The distance to the second point read 53NM.  Allotting for placement error and the fact that the plane I was flying rounds to the nearest whole number (I could have been 52.5NM away), the grid bars should represent approximately 50NM.
